Yesterday evening there was a fight in front of my house. A large 17 yr old was repeatedly punching a much smaller 13 yr old in the face. I found out later that the 13 yr old had thrown a gummy worm (candy) on the older boys shoulder as a joke. The police arrested the 13 yr old & not the older boy. Allegedly for assault. Really, assault with a gummy worm. I have called the police twice on the older boy previously, once for trying to start a fire on the hill in front of my house, and another time for threatening my daughter. Both times nothing happened. The officer suggested that my daughter 'led him on' or 'provoked' him. Those are the officers words. This boy/man (17 is pretty close) is a bully, cannot control his temper, and starting fires is a classic sign. I believe he is a psychopath in the making. I also believe he gets off partially because of his race and the fact that he will lose his place on the basketball team if arrested. I've been told he wasn't arrested this time because it was self defense. A gummy worm and getting repeatly punched in the face? REALLY. Can't these officers use some common sense, The kid is in trouble, it's not always someone else's fault.
Side note - 13 yr olds parents ca
E out & ended up getting arrested-bad judgement on their part- trying to defend their 13 yr old - but maybe not the police did NOTHING.

Hello Ron, I was wondering if your heard any updated information about the expansion of Walmart and any retail news about the vacant a&p. I emailed a couple of companies such as IGA and Shoprite. Shoprite emailed me back saying they would look into the property but that was months ago.

Hey Ron, Just got a chance to check out the site. Looks like a good mix of strong stories, particularly police, fire and government. We'll have to cross-Patch more often!
