Police arrested a woman checked into Boston Medical Center on Tuesday.
Boston Police officers received information on Tuesday morning from the Public Safety Investigators Unit at Boston Medical Center that a patient had two active warrants for her arrest. Officers arrested and charged Nicole Mello of 780 Albany St. on two separate drug and forgercy charges at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. The first warrant was out of Boston Municipal Court for Possession of a Class A substance. The second warrant was out of Dedham District Court for Forgery of Records, Certificates and Other Writings. Mello was discharged from the hospital and taken into police custody. Information used in this report was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

Police officers arrested two Boston men for allegedly buying drugs from an undercover police officer in the South End.

Boston Police officers arrested two Boston residents after conducting an undercover drug investigation on Wednesday at around 6 p.m. in the area of Tremont Street and West Springfield Street in the South End. Officers asked a man if he knew where they could score any “brown”. The suspect said he knew a guy. The suspect made a phone call and told the officer that his guy was coming on a bike and would meet them at the corner of West Springfield Street. So Sandy, about a little over a month ago there was only about 4 or 5 guys running drugs on Tremont in between W Newton and the Running Shop. Now there are about 15 - 20 that walk the block up and down. They got about 10 different 14 year olds running around on bikes. Constantly coming by for updates. This is sad and pathetic.
