Cinquecento, Roman Trattoria on Harrison Avenue, to Open This Week

The South End's newest restaurant will feature a traditional Italian menu and a private dining room, bar and outdoor patio space for the summer months.

This week, the South End welcomes its newest restaurant from the Aquitaine Group, the much-anticipated Roman Trattoria Cinquecento.  The brand new Italian dinner and brunch spot is located at 500 Harrison Avenue in the SoWA area of the South End. It will feature a contemporary, casual feel, and a menu with an emphasis on traditional Roman cooking to incorporate seasonal, local and imported ingredients from Italy, according to its owners.  The restaurant was conceived to fill the need for an Italian neighborhood restaurant and gathering spot, according to founding chef and partner Seth Woods. “We envisioned a comfortable, inviting restaurant reminiscent of neighborhood trattorias found in Rome," he said.
