Man Charged with Breaking into Washington St. Walgreens, Stealing Electronics

Police say a man broke into the Walgreens at 1603 Washington Street on Tuesday.

The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Charges listed do not imply a conviction. Boston Police arrested a Boston man for allegedly breaking into a Washington Street Walgreens store by throwing a brick through the window, and stealing several items, including battiers, portable stereo speakers, and a DVD player. At 1:49 a.m. on Tuesday, January 8, officers responded to a report of breaking and entering at the Walgreens at 1603 Washington Street. Upon arrival, officers reportedly saw the suspect in the area and chased him down down West Concord Street from Washington Street on foot. Man Charged with Breaking and Entering on Harrison Avenue

A Boston man was allegedly caught hiding inside a stairwell with a stolen laptop, police said.

The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction. Police arrested a Boston man for allegedly breaking into an office building on Harrison Avenue on Wednesday.  Boston Police responded to a radio call for a breaking and entering in progress at 500 Harrison Avenue around 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday night.  When the officers arrived on the scene, two men who work for the management company responsible for the maintenance met them and told them that they had received a call from their boss about an alarm. Two Men Charged with Breaking into a Car on Shawmut Avenue

Boston Police said two men were seen allegedly attempting to start a Chevy parked on Shawmut.

Two men were arrested on Monday night for allegedly breaking into a car and attempting to steal it, according to the Boston Police Department.  According to police, officers responded to Shawmut Avenue at 12:15 a.m. on Monday night for a report that a male was breaking into cars on Shawmut Avenue. Police also received word that two males had broken into a Chevy and tried to start the vehicle. When police arrived, they saw two males fleeing on foot on Union Park. While the police had one suspect in custody, the second one fled on foot. The second suspect fled until a Boston Police officer was able to tackle him, causing both men to fall to the ground.
