A couple from Dorchester were charged with stealing a phone from a customer at New York Pizza on Monday night. Boston Police officers got a call for a larceny in progress in New York Pizza at 435 Massachusetts Ave. at around 12:48 a.m. on May 13. Dispatch told the officers that the suspects were a male and a female walking towards Tremont Street. The store employee told the police that they saw the man steal the victim’s phone while watching the security tapes from off the counter and leave the store. A woman was arrested in the South End on Sunday for alleged drug possession, trespassing, and several outstanding warrants.

A Boston woman was arrested and charged with drug possession at the Boston Medical Center campus over the weekend after allegedly tresspassing and giving police a fake name. Police responded to Boston Medical Center at 3 a.m. on Sunday for a report of a person doing drugs at 840 Harrison Ave. When police arrived, they reportedly found multiple syringes in the area. Police interviewed a woman they suspected to be involved, who said she had no medical reason to be at Boston Medical Center, police said. Two women were treated for non-life threaning stab wounds after a knife fight on Shawmut Avenue on Wednesday night, according to Boston Police. Boston Police responded to a report of a person slashed or stabbed near 609 Shawmut Ave. at about 8:25 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8. When offficers arrived, they found two people bleeding from slash and stab wounds sustained during a fight, police said. Police said that a fight had broke out between three women. Police said they spotted two men acting suspicious near Rutland Square on Saturday, which lead to an arrest for a suspected drug deal.

Police arrested two Boston men on Saturday for a drug deal in the South End allegedly witnessed by police. Police said they had been patrolling the Tremont Street and Massachusetts Avenue areas when around 10 p.m., they noticed two men standing near Tremont Street and Rutland Square. Police said both men were looking around nervously in different directions, walking up and down Newland Street and acting suspicious. Boston Police observed a man looking into the windows of a blue Volvo while trying to open the front driver’s side door on Harrison Avenue at about 1:55 a.m. on April 27. The officer asked the suspect what was going on. The suspect reportedly turned around and looked frightened. The suspect reportedly started speaking rapidly. The officer thought that the suspect might try to make a run for it. The suspect stated that the vehicle belonged to his girlfriend. The suspect stated that he had just gotten off work and was looking to meet his girlfriend there. The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Boston Police responded to a report of a shooting at 609 Shawmut Avenue at 10:01 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17. Police said officers found two victims shot. Two males were treated for non-life threatening injuries. One was transported to BMC and the other was taken to Brigham and Women's. A man and women were both charged with possession of heroin in the South End on Monday night.

Boston Police were on patrol when they noticed a man and a woman sitting on the steps of 55 Sullivan Way near a “No Trespassing” sign around 6:15 p.m. As the officers approached, the man reportedly put something behind his back and the woman reportedly dropped a clear plastic bag. Police have released more information on the small cache of guns found inside an East Brookline Street apartment on Friday.

Two South End residents face weapons charges after pest control inspectors found guns in their apartment. Following a search, officers turned up three more guns, some of which had altered serial numbers. Boston police officers responded to a report from the Boston housing police who had found firearms at 16 East Brookline Street on April 5. When Boston police officers arrived, they observed the two suspects sitting in the parlor area handcuffed. Police arrested a South End man for allegedly trying to break in to two buildings on Dwight Street on Tuesday evening. Boston Police Offices responded to a report of an attempted breaking and entering at 7 Dwight Street on April 2 at 5:30 p.m. While en route, officers were informed by the caller’s neighbor that the caller was following the suspect. Boston resident Peter Monzi, of 784 Mass. Ave., was charged with multiple drug charges after police say they saw him buying heroin. Historically the line to the south/west of the South End was just south of Mass Ave (north of Northampton Street) as the Roxbury canal used to run between there. However there seems to be an initiative from the City to extend the boundaries of the South End to Melnea Cass Blvd. I am not sure why other than perhaps to capitalize on the market of the South End.
