Bank Robbery at South End Mercantile Bank

The Mercantile Bank on Washington Street was robbed on Monday morning, according to the Boston Police Department.

Police are investigating a bank robbery at Mercantile Bank in the South End that occured on Monday morning. Boston Police confirmed that at 9:42 a.m., a call came in for a robbery at the 1320 Washington St. Mercantile Bank. Police said that a note was passed to the teller, and that no weapon was shown. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. The suspect then fled the scene. Police Searching for Suspect in Wednesday Robbery at Hingham Institution Bank

The Hingham Institution Bank on Tremont Street was robbed on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Boston Police Department.

Boston Police are searching for a male suspect wanted for allegedly robbing the Hingham Institution Bank on Tremont Street on Wednesday afternoon. Police said that around 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, a male suspect entered the bank and passed a note demanding cash from the teller. Police said no weapon was shown.  The suspect was described as a white male in his 30's, six feet tall with a medium build and was wearing a blue shirt and a dark blue cap. BREAKING: Bank Robbery Reported at Hingham Institution Bank

Police say a male suspect robbed the Hingham Institution Bank located at 540 Tremont Street in the South End.

The Boston Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occured at approximately 12 p.m. at the Hingham Institution Bank at 540 Tremont Street. Police said the suspect is described as a white male in his 30's, six feet tall with a medium build and was wearing a blue shirt and a dark blue cap.
