Maxine Wants You All to Herself
This week's pet is a delightful 7 year old Lab mix.
Meet Maxine, a 7 year old female Labrador mix who was transferred to ARL from another rescue organization. Maxine was actually transferred from the Dakin Animal Shelter in Springfield after the tornado hit. Thankfully, all of the shelter animals were safe but to help make space for the animals affected by the storm, we were able to take a number of Dakin’s current residents. Maxine is a very friendly girl who likes the company of people very much! She enjoys going for walks, hanging with humans and having a good time. She does not, however, enjoy the company of other dogs but she may be able to live with another mellow dog.
