Please remember to move your vehicle to avoid ticketing and towing. 3. 1. Today, Mayor Thomas M. Menino and Police Commissioner Ed Davis will kick off the fourth year of the nation’s largest corporate based summer jobs program, MLK Summer Scholars, by speaking to hundreds of high school participants and thanking program sponsors for their continued support. The initiative will employ over 660 teens this summer at nearly 80 community service organizations. Approximately 200 of the teens will be at the event, which will take place this morning, 11:00 a.m., at the 4th floor atrium in the Hancock Financial building, 601 Congress Street, South Boston. 1. You may notice that Alix's beautiful face isn't atop the South End Patch.com page this lovely Monday morning. This is because Ms. Roy is actually on vacation. Five Things: 'Ted' Filming Resumes Today

Indoor and outdoor scenes will be shot at the Union United Methodist Church on Columbus Avenue.

1. More rain and colder temperatures today with highs in the upper 40s. Chance of rain is near 100% and winds will be a steady 15 mph. 2. Filming for the Mark Wahlberg film "Ted" resumes today in the South End, with a full day of shooting scheduled at Union United Methodist Church on Columbus Ave. "No Parking" signs have been hung along portions of Columbus Ave. and on nearby side streets. Any residents affected by the parking shortage should call Assistant Location Manager Kai Quinlan at (323) 360-2580 for a garage voucher. 3. Parking will also be limited during Wednesday's scheduled visit by President Obama. 1. We're in for a rainy week, starting with today's forecast of cloudy skies and scattered showers. Temperatures in the low 50s. 2. A stabbing Sunday morning killed a man in his late 20s. On Sunday, more than 50 salons, many of them on Newbury Street, will participate in a cut-a-thon to benefit Children's Hospital Boston. Hearing Date Set for East Berkeley Street Name Change

Hearing will focus on city's name-change policy, future of East Berkeley Street name.

1. Cloudy skies and a chance of rain today with cooler temperatures in the upper 50s. Forecasts are calling for a breezy day - wind gusts could reach 35 mph. 2. A public hearing on the Dover/East Berkeley Street name change will be held on Tuesday, May 24 at 6 p.m. in the Ben Franklin Institute for Technology auditorium, City Council Bill Linehan's office announced. The purpose of the hearing will be resolve "any discrepancies" in the city's policy for street name-changes and to facilitate an open discussion on reclaiming the Dover Street name for the thoroughfare, currently known as East Berkeley Street. City's Crosswalks to be Repaired

Mayor launched 'Mark It' campaign aimed at repairing street markings.

1. A sunny Monday: clear skies and highs in the mid 60s. North winds 15 to 20 mph. 2. The mayor has launched a campaign to repair crosswalks across the city. Over the next few months the Boston Transportation Department will reinstall crosswalks, double yellow lines, lane lines, school zone symbols and traffic turn arrows as well as other markings in areas that have been damaged over the winter months.
