Aspect magazine resides on the first floor, in a large studio office where artist and editor-in-chief Michael Mittelman, along with his small crew, creates and produces a bi-annual DVD publication. The seven-year-old magazine represents any and all art that is not print art — i.e. performance, sound, video and kinetic. In addition to art, Aspect features a fellow artist or critic who provides an audio commentary about each piece. The Aspect office is open to the public twice a year during the local South End Open Studios event. Mittelman also displays his own series of Sky Mall art on the office walls.
