@BH -- that story is about the new coaches being built overseas, not the locomotives mentioned aboveRead More (which I believe were assembled in the US) ...

It says Around Town but the headline is UTAH. Utah is not near Natick!! I think everyone should notRead More open an article on Patch unless they see their town's name in the headline. So If it doesn't say Natick, then we all know it is not LOCAL to the Natick Patch. The less clicks these Patch sites get, the fewer advertisers they will get and then perhaps they will realize if we want sensational news from across the country we'd go back to Patch's former owners AOL and the HuffPost! Those here from other Patch sites - I think you should do the same only click on articles that mention your community's name. No name. No click!

Only Communist Editors remove comments!

Yeah well only ignorant people try to incite trouble when the forum is about disgusing a tragedy andRead More paying tribute to it. They should remove more than just your comment.

They should have removed the bombers from this country! Now they should remove the politicians thatRead More allowed them and supported them!

What a bunch of idiots. Two of the main bridges in our state down to one lane on each. Let's showRead More the polls that people count not the giving union jobs for votes. Let's vote these idiots out and get people who care about all the people in not the big pacs

Doria you have a lot to LEARN about Mike McGlynn. I never voted for him. He is a A-HOLE. He shouldRead More take care of the CITY first' I live in Malden now. It's cleaner than Medfrod. We enforce everything. Medford is like waiting for breakfast in BED.
Doria Alberg April 13, 2014 at 10:51 pm
Frank I agree with you. The only thing McGlynn is good at is ribbon cutting and photo ops.

Will the anti-gambling folks be out with their signs again for this one? Funny. The CommonwealthRead More just loves their sin taxes. The $50 & $100 ones can't be too far behind. P.T. Barnum would be quite pleased.
Wind Dummy 25 March 30, 2014 at 07:07 pm
Its just another probe. If you pay $2.00 for a scratch ticket you'll pay $5 if you pay $10 etcRead More $40.00 and so on. The great dollar junkie scatch debate of the 70's & 80's are now an incremental proven success. Except it goes to pentions ultimately. I don't know is that a good thing?

Carrie March 27, 2014 at 06:56 pm
I don't find this meaningless.
Dennis Naughton March 28, 2014 at 08:17 am
What would really make it meaningful is addressing the root causes.
Joe Piantedosi March 28, 2014 at 07:18 pm
The root cause is obvious: Middlesex County is much wealthier and better educated than the otherRead More counties. Fewer people smoke and they eat healthier. Also in the poorer counties most residents lead harder lives. They work in hard manual labor jobs and can't afford health clubs and other health related programs.

I agree with you BH. Veterinarians are making a killing! They are sales people first, and careRead More givers second... They know that pet owners will go to any length to to provide for their animals that can't tell them what's going on... Vet charges have quadrupled in the last 40 years! My quick research shows that dogs aren't living any longer now than 40 years ago. That being said, I'm still gonna keep my gorgeous 7 year old Golden Retriever, Cleopatra....

How about having better security or is that to much to ask?
Matt March 13, 2014 at 09:36 pm
I hope this idea works. I think it's just a fantastic plan. The problem might be in changingRead More people's views of Boston to think of it as a city with vibrant nightlife before the trial period ends.

Public transportation is at the highest level since 1956. MBTA is raking in the bucks and theRead More politically connected fat cats have been enjoying the good life for way too long. The trains are packed with many paying full price, and paying to park. The Boston line should be millions in the black with new cars on order. Too many 1% er's with hands in the pot.
Chris Daley March 11, 2014 at 07:43 am
Another gov't entity fighting to preserve its power base and self-importance, at the expense of theRead More people empowered to serve. While on a January 2011 visit to Niagara Falls the local bus picked me up at motel on time, temperature was -6 at about 8am. That same week Boston trains paralyzed with frozen locomotives, hard starting and delays. Maybe T needs indoor garaging, car barns? Overloading Green Line cars may've caused that derailment Monday, like swinging beef flipping over a semi. When will the culture attitude ever grow up?
K. March 11, 2014 at 09:23 am
I would be shocked if Keolis gets it. There are too many MBTA votes that MA politicians depend onRead More and they would lose a ton of votes if this gets blessed off. No worries MBTA, the local government will shut Keolis down, hard.
