DePasquale Ventures Bricco Dinner Benefiting St. John School a Huge Success

Award-winning restaurateur, Frank DePasquale hosted a fundraiser on Tuesday, January 14th on behalf of St. John School at his famed Bricco restaurant.  The first annual event was attended by many North End friends, parents and supporters of the school.

100% of the proceeds raised at the dinner were generously donated to the St. John School Education Fund and will go directly to the 2014 “Dare to Dream Auction and Gala.” The money from the fund goes towards the purchase of 80 additional iPads for grades 2, 5, and grades 6 – 8; three additional iPad carts for grades 6 – 8; professional development for teachers to integrate technology into the curriculum; the continuation of the North Bennet Street School “woodworking” program for grades 6 – 8; as well as continued school improvements.

Principal, Karen McLaughlin spoke about how thankful she was for all the support of St. John School we receive in the North End Community.  We wish to thank Frank DePasquale for hosting the wonderful event on our behalf, as well as everyone who attended.  Your support of St. John School is greatly appreciated!
