Undercover Officers Charge Two with Distribution of Crack Cocaine

Boston Police officers arrested a man and woman in Peter's Park on Tuesday night for allegedly dealing cocaine. 

Around 7:50 p.m. on Dec. 18, an undercover Boston Police officer in the area of Washington and East Berkley Street asked a male and female about buying crack cocaine. The officer followed the two suspects down Shawmut Avenue to the rear of Peters Park, according to the police report. The couple talked to a few people and returned to the officer, asking him for $40, and they allegedly gave him a bag of a "white rocklike substance" believed to be crack cocaine.

At this point, other officers stopped the two suspects and identified themselves as police. Officers placed the two suspects under arrest. After reading the suspects their rights, officers recovered the money they had used in the transaction, and disocvered an additional bag containing three small bags of crack in one of the suspect's pockets. 

Officers charged Robert Jamison of 1050 Tremont Street, Roxbury, and Liquea Hill of 39 Boylston Street, Boston, with possession and distribution of a Class B substance within 100 feet of a park.
