Shots Fired in South End on Saturday

Boston Police said no one was injured and no one was arrested after shooting broke out on West Canton Street on Saturday night.

Residents of the South End were on edge on Saturday night after hearing the sound of shots ring out in the area of West Canton Street and Tremont. 

Police said they were called to the area around 9 p.m. on Friday for a report of shots fired. 

Witnesses told police there had been a fight between a group of men, and that during the fight, one of the men pulled out a firearm and started to shoot. Police said at least one shot was fired, but could not comment on how many shots were fired. Police said all the men fled the area during the shooting. 

Police said that no one was injured in the shooting, although one car window was damaged. 

No one was arrested and no weapons were recovered, according to police.
