Police: South End Woman Pulled a Knife During an Argument

The woman was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon for Monday's incident.

A South End woman was charged with pulling out a knife during an argument on Aquidilla Street. 

Boston Police responded to a report of a person with a knife near 19 Aquidilla Street at about 7:07 p.m. on Monday, July 22.

A Longwood security guard told police that she observed the suspect threatening the victim with a knife.

The security guard told police that while on patrol of the Villa Victoria property when a person approached her and told her that a woman was chasing a man with a knife in her hand.

The guard told police that they saw the man and the woman standing face to face in an argument. The argument heated up to the point where the woman brandished a knife and pointed it at the man in a threatening manner, the guard said. 

The security guards told the woman to drop the knife, placed the victim in handcuffs and contacted police.

Shamika Correa of 8B Aquadilla Street was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
