Boston Police Arrest Fugitive from California on Albany Street

Boston Police arrested a man wanted in California on Friday after receiving a call for a suspicious person in the area of Boston Medical Center.

Boston Police arrested a fugitive from California on Albany Street in the South End on Friday. 

Police were called to the Boston Medical Center building on Albany Street to investigate a suspicious person around 11:45 p.m. on Friday night. 

After a preliminary inquiry, officers discovered that the man was subject to a “Be On the Lookout” notice for being a fugitive from justice. The subject was wanted by the California Department of Correction on an extraditable parole warrant.

Police arrested Ahmad Brathwaite and charged him with being a fugitive from justice.
