The Violent Crimes Task Force inside the Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking for assistance in identifying a person it calls “a serial bank robber” who has allegedly been involved in a string of incidents in the metro Boston area during the last eight weeks.

According to a press statement, the alleged bank robber is described as a black or Hispanic man, in his mid-30s to early-40s, about 5-feet, 11-inches tall, with a medium build.

“During the robberies, he has worn a dark jacket, dark pants, both black gloves and white gloves, a scarf or ski mask covering his face, and a knit hat,” according to investigators. “He also has, what appear to be, skin tags or moles underneath his eyes.”

According to investigators, the alleged bank robber enters the bank, displays what appears to be a black handgun, verbally threatens bank tellers, and demands money. In two of the cases, the robber fled the banks in stolen vehicles that were later recovered, according to the FBI.

He is considered “armed and dangerous,” according to investigators.

The robberies began on Dec. 12, 2013, at the Century Bank on Western Avenue in Allston. The Santander location in Brookline, on Harvard Street, was hit on Jan. 3. The Santander location on Birmingham Parkway in Brighton was robbed on Jan. 7, and the TD Bank on Franklin Street in Braintree was hit a few weeks later, on Jan. 28.

The FBI has provided these screenshots from video surveillance from the banks in order to assist in apprehending the individual.

Rewards of $10,000 from the FBI and $2,000 for the Massachusetts Bankers Association for information leading to the arrest and charge of the alleged bank robber are available to anyone with information regarding the incidents.

If you have info about this case, call the FBI’s Boston Division at 617-742-5533, or call the Boston, Brookline, or Braintree police departments.

And to say that you could care less implies that you care a certain amount and there is a lesser degree for which you could care. To state that you couldn't care less reassures readers of your post that you care so little that to is not possible to care less than you do.

You buy a home and borrow 300k and pay back the 300k and 500k in interest while you pay mostly interest in the first 20 years of the loan plus PMI insurance fraud which insures you have less than 20% equity in your home! Plus 4k+ in property taxes to a usurped city government who increases your tax bill every year! Then when the homes around you start to fall apart or become foreclosed, the immigrants move in which lowers what little value your so called property has, then when you try to sell to escape, you find out you have no real equity because you been paying bank interest and taxes, insurance and all kinds of lawyer fees sneaked into the closing costs! Don't forget about your mandated healthcare because if you don't pay and can't pay the IRS fines, they will seize your home for Massa Obama and his Democrats!

What do you think happens when a government tramples liberty and injects it's will on the free market....all in the name of social justice.

Mark--just because the banks can and do bad stuff with people's mortgages doesn't justify these street-criminal bank heisters going into banks with automatic weapons drawn, forcing everybody to the floor, terrorizing and seriously injuring, or possibly killing people that they think are standing in their way. People who work in banks are also trying to make an honest living, most of them. Crime is crime, whether it's street-crime or white collar crime, and it's indefensible.
