Boston Murder Suspect Appears on 'America's Most Wanted'

Peter Castillo, a suspect in the killing of an Army veteran in the Theater District, was on the popular TV show "America's Most Wanted" on Friday.

Boston Police are drawing national attention to the hunt for the man they say killed a veteran of the Afghanistan War.

The popular television show "America's Most Wanted" featured the case against Peter Castillo, wanted for allegedly shooting Army veteran Stephen Perez. Perez was shot in the back in the Theater District in April. The former Army sniper was studying at Bunker Hill Community College to become a Revere police officer, according to the Herald.

This cell phone video, hosted on the "America's Most Wanted" site, is of the fight that led up to the shooting. It contains strong language and may not be suitable for all viewers.

Castillo, who previously lived in Salem, may be in the Caribbean area in general or in the Dominican Republic specifically, according to "America's Most Wanted."

Boston Police have also updated their list of "Most Wanted" persons, which has included Castillo since June.

If you have information about any of the persons at the link, Boston Police ask that you call 1-800-494-TIPS. Photos of the persons, and descriptions of their alleged crimes, are attached to this post.
