Man Charged with Breaking into Washington St. Walgreens, Stealing Electronics
Police say a man broke into the Walgreens at 1603 Washington Street on Tuesday.

Boston Police arrested a Boston man for allegedly breaking into a Washington Street Walgreens store by throwing a brick through the window, and stealing several items, including battiers, portable stereo speakers, and a DVD player.
At 1:49 a.m. on Tuesday, January 8, officers responded to a report of breaking and entering at the Walgreens at 1603 Washington Street.

Upon arrival, officers reportedly saw the suspect in the area and chased him down down West Concord Street from Washington Street on foot. Officers located the suspect crouched behind two cars with multiple Walgreens bags in his hands, according to police. The suspect reportedly had Energizer battery packs, portable stereo speakers, a Sony DVD player, two Apple iHome Speakers, and a Sony clock radio on him.
Police determined that the suspect had thrown a brick through the front door of the Walgreens to gain access to the store.

Officers arrested Ronald Perry of 7 Summer Park and charged him with breaking and entering by force at night and larceny.
