Baby and Parents Hit, Injured in South End Car Crash

A couple crossing their street with their baby were hit by a car in the South End on Sunday.

Two parents are in serious condition and their 1-year-old child was injured in the South End on Sunday afternoon, when they were hit by a car while crossing the street near Back Bay station.

Police said an SUV driven by a 17-year-old junior operator hit a mother, father and their child as they crossed the street at the corner of Columbus Avenue and Dartmouth Street. 

Police said they are investigating the crash. The child was treated for injuries at Tufts Medical Center and was released. The two parents are both listed in serious condition at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
