Aaron Hernandez Indicted in Connection With South End Double Murder

Hernandez is expected to be arraigned at a later date.

A Suffolk County Grand Jury has indicted former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez for a double murder in Boston's South End in July 2012, MyFoxBoston reported Thursday

Boston Police began investigating Hernandez's possible connection with the double homicide last summer.

The incident occurred on July 16, 2012, when Boston Police said a gray SUV with Rhode Island license plates pulled up to a silver BMW at the intersection of Shawmut Avenue, Tremont and Herald streets, and an occupant opened fire, killing two and injuring another.

The indictment claims that authorities believe Hernandez killed the victims before the start of the 2012-2013 NFL season, and he is expected to be arraigned at a later date, according to MyFoxBoston.
