Cathedral High School is set to play Madison Park for the Division 4A Football Title at 9:00 A.M. this Saturday at Gillette Stadium. The Panthers are looking for redemption from last year’s loss in the title game as they try and win the school’s first Super Bowl! Cathedral won the coin flip at the Champion’s Breakfast held at Gillette Stadium yesterday and will be the home team on the east sideline. Andy Gresh and Gary Tanguay will be calling the game live on Comcast SportsNet and on 98.5 The Sports Hub.

It has been a great year thus far for the Panthers and many of the players have already received individual recognition.  Star wide receiver Kadeem Edge was selected for the All Scholastic award from the Boston Herald and was also named a Catholic Central Small All League Performer.  The Catholic Central MVP was defensive lineman Mohammed Braimah. Honors for the Cathedral defense also included Sean Elad as the Catholic Central Small Defensive MVP and Derek Welcome as the Catholic Central Small Defensive Lineman of the Year.  Listed below are Cathedral’s Catholic Central Small All League Performers.

Derek Blackwell - DL
Trehme Haney - FS
Bryan Cedeno - RB
Marquiez Correa - OL
Rajdel Francois - OL
Cameron Seemore - LB
Shayne Green - LB
Kejonte Hickman - QB
Jermal Brevard-Jackson - RB
