Please vote for your favorite sandwich place by taking our poll and by clicking on the directory link and writing a short 1 or 2 sentence review.

Our inaugural Best of Patch contest kicks off this week with food on our minds.

Do you have a favorite sandwich place or sub shop in the neighborhood?

Here are some of our favorite places, but if we're leaving one off of the list, please let us know in the comments and we'll add it:

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

Also, let us know who makes the best sandwich in , , and .

Las Ventas at 700 Harrison is missing from this list. It's the take out portion of Estragon, the awesom Tapas restaurant. It has incredible sandwiches!

Five Seventy Market at Union Park & Tremont makes amazing sandwiches. The Capri Press is the best! http://fiveseventymarket.com/menu.html#sandwiches

Mike & Patty's has the best sandwiches in Boston, but a poll about the best sandwiches in Bay Village would probably be underwhelming to say the least :)

Due to reader recommendations, Las Ventas, Coppa, Going Bananas and Five Seventy Market are now on the list
