One Fund Boston Receives 259 Victim Claims

The deadline to submit claims for One Fund Boston funds was June 15 and funds will be distributed starting June 30.

One Fund Boston administrators received 259 claims before the window for applying for claims closed on June 15, according to the Boston Herald

As expected, claims rolled in quickly on the last few days, including many on the last day of being able to submit a claim, as 200 claims had been received the morning of the 15th

One Fund Boston is still collecting funds with more than $58 million being raised so far to go to victims.

The three families who lost a loved one are expected to receive around $1 million each starting on June 30. 

Next, those who suffered double amputations or more will receive funds, then single amputees, then those who required an overnight hospital stay. The final protocol for dispersing funds can be viewed on the One Fund site.
