Strong Women, Strong Girls 10th Anniversary Celebration

Strong Women, Strong Girls, a nationally recognized mentoring program that closes the ambition gap with pre-adolescent girls in low-income communities, is celebrating its 10th anniversary by honoring ten women who have helped build communities of women committed to supporting positive social change.

The event, presented by Natixis and hosted by Kim Carrigan, co-host of The Financial Exchange on AM680 WRKO, will take place on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 6:30pm at the Revere Hotel in Boston. 

The 10 women to be recognized at the event are:

“Strong Women, Strong Girls utilizes the lessons learned from strong women throughout history to encourage girls and young women to become strong women themselves,” said Haviva Kohl, National President, Strong Women, Strong Girls.  “The individuals we are honoring at this event are all strong women who serve as role models so our participants can see a clear path from the classroom to the boardroom – or any other path they choose.”
