Social Media Engagement at Boston Neighborhood Network Television

Designed for social media novices who want to have a better understanding of what the tools are and why it is important to get involved with social media for both personal and professional purposes. Get a basic overview of some of the hottest social media tools in this one-hour, introductory session.

About the Instructor: Talia Whyte is a freelance journalist who has reported on issues related to social justice, media and technology for 15 years.  Her work has been featured in the Houston Chronicle, The Progressive, The Boston Globe, theGrio, MSNBC, PBS, Al Jazeera English, among many others.  She is also the managing director of Global Wire Associates, a new media consulting firm and author of several books on the politics of technology.
