Prayer Vigil for Immigrants & Detainees

Keep Immigrant Families Together – Stop the Raids and Deportations

Sunday, September 29th, 2 p.m.
Suffolk County House of Correction
20 Bradston St., Boston

Each day over 200 immigrants are detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at the Suffolk County House of Correction in Boston. At this quarterly vigil, we gather to bear witness to the pain, suffering and loneliness of those detained and their families and to call for just immigration reform. The more people attend, the louder our voice will be.

Maria Peniche, one of the DREAM 9, will share her story and why detention must end as well as Mariola Perez. Rev. Jason Lydon with Black and Pink will give the opening prayer.

For more information about the vigil email vigils@bostonnewsanctuary.org.
