Boston Landmarks Orchestra Free Concerts - Carmina burana

Led by Music Director Christopher Wilkins, the opening night program will debut Larry Bell’s adaptation of "At the River" (the orchestra's unofficial anthem) which honors one of Boston’s most iconic concert settings. Then on tap is Leonard Bernstein's "On the Waterfront" and the Back Bay Chorale (Scott Allen Jarrett, music director) joins the One City Choir - with singers welcome from all parts of the city – in music every generation knows. Carl Orff's "Carmina burana" is a meditation on love, nature, and fortune’s inescapable power. Special guests include Teresa Wakim, soprano and Aaron Engebreth, baritone
