2013 Western Massachusetts Arthritis Walk

The Arthritis Foundation (www.arthritis.org) is committed to raising awareness and reducing the unacceptable impact of arthritis, which  strikes one in every five adults and 300,000 children, and is the nation’s leading cause of disability.

In Massachusetts  5,900 children and 1.7 million adults suffer with doctor diagnosed arthritis. 

Lisa Dombeck, of Springfield, has been named the 2013 Western MA Arthritis Walk Ambassador.  Along with her family and friends, Lisa will lead the Annual Arthritis Walk on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Central High School, Springfield, MA. Registrations begin at 10:00 am, walk begins at 11:00am.

Lisa, diagnosed with juvenile arthritis, calls on the Western MA community to join her in supporting the Arthritis Foundation in their efforts to prevent, control and cure the more than 100 different types of arthritis and related diseases.

1-mile or 3-mile. Activities for non-walkers. Join us for entertainment, refreshments, poker on the track with many winners, Home Depot “Kid’s Workshop”, Chair Massages by Massage Envy, raffle prizes & more!
