Woman Robbed at Gunpoint on Union Park

The victim said she was walking alone on Union Park when a male suspect stole her purse at gunpoint.

A woman was reportedly robbed at gunpoint on Union Park on Wednesday night. 

Police responded to the area around 10:03 p.m. on December 26 to find the victim on Union Park. She said was robbed while walking on Union Park heading towards Tremont Street from Shawmut Avenue.

The victim stated that she had her hood up, but could see a shadow of someone behind her. When she turned, she reportedly heard two clicks, which she believed was the cocking of a gun. The suspect told the victim to drop her purse.

The victim described the suspect as a white or light skinned Hispanic male wearing a dark colored hoodie and a mask or a scarf. The victim said the man was about 5’ 8’’. Officers searched the area but could not locate anyone matching the description.
