Woman Arrested on Outstanding Warrants While in Hospital

Police arrested a woman checked into Boston Medical Center on Tuesday.

Boston Police officers received information on Tuesday morning from the Public Safety Investigators Unit at Boston Medical Center that a patient had two active warrants for her arrest. 

Officers arrested and charged Nicole Mello of 780 Albany St. on two separate drug and forgercy charges at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

The first warrant was out of Boston Municipal Court for Possession of a Class A substance. The second warrant was out of Dedham District Court for Forgery of Records, Certificates and Other Writings.

Mello was discharged from the hospital and taken into police custody.
