Snow Forecast for the South End Increased to Up to 6 Inches

Earlier forecasts predicted only a few inches of snow, but more recent ones say we'll get between 3 and 6 inches.

Well, it's really snowing after all.

The most recent weather forecasts predict Boston will get between 3-6 inches through Thursday. Sources vary: WCVB estimates we'll get 4-6 inches while the National Weather Service predicts 3-5 inches.

According to the WCVB meteorologist, much depends on where exactly the rain/snow line falls as we move into evening.
