Action for Boston Community Development (ABDC) threw a large holiday party for hundreds of kids at the Blackstone School on Tuesday night.

About 300 children from the South End/Lower Roxbury neighborhoods were treated to toys and gifts at the Blackstone Community School, courtesy of ABCD’s South End Neighborhood Service Center, and community leaders and volunteers.

Kids each got a chance to pick out a holiday gift, enjoy cotton candy and popcorn, and participate in various activities including a moon bounce, a dance floor, face painting and wreath decorating.
