The MBTA will have reduced service for Labor Day. Subways, most buses and most commuter rail lines will operate on a Sunday schedule. Boats will be on a weekend schedule.
There are exceptions. The following services are not offered on Labor Day:
- Commuter rail Needham line
- Commuter rail Greenbush line
- Commuter rail Kingston/Plymouth line
- Commuter rail Fairmont line
- Express buses
- F1 boat service
