Frost Advisory in Effect for Friday Night

Bring in your plants as the cold temperatures could kill sensitive vegetation.

It's time to bring in the plants to protect them from the cooler temperatures.

The National Weather Service expects some frosty weather tonight and into Saturday morning for the Boston area.

The freeze watch is set late Friday night into Saturday morning. Temperatures are expected to be around 30 degrees.

"Areas of frost and near freezing temperatures may kill sensitive vegetation," according to the advisory.

The frost could mean the end of the growing season, the statement added.
