Five Things: Voter Registration Deadline Wednesday

Today is Monday, Feb. 13. Here are five things you need to know today:

1. If you need to thaw out from Sunday’s cold spell, temperatures should reach the high 30s today. On Tuesday, temperatures are expected to reach the high 40s.

2. March 6 Presidential Primary: If you’re not registered to vote (or if you need to make a change of address or declare a political designation) and you want to vote in the March 6 Presidential Primary, be sure to register by this coming Wednesday, Feb. 15 (Request a Voter Registration Form). All registrations must be postmarked by that date. Offices in City Hall (room 241), will be open until 8 p.m. that night. See the city’s website for complete details.

3. If you were too scared to go online last week after the Patriots loss in Super Bowl XLVI, .

4. Now Hiring: The director of programs, Kristina Newman-Scott, , Conn. The center has already begun a recruitment process for a replacement director of programs.

5. Sculptor Liz Shepherd’s new show, opened at the (486 Harrison Ave.) this past weekend. If you weren’t at the opening, be sure to check it out in the next month – the exhibit closes Sunday, March 11.
