Five Things: Tonight's 'Brewers Helping Neighbors' Event Sold Out

Today is Thursday, Feb. 2. Here are five things you need to know today:

1. Today should be mostly cloudy with temperatures in the mid 30s. The overnight low is expected to be 27 degrees.

2. The United South End Settlements’ (USES) from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at the Harriet Tubman House is SOLD OUT, and, unfortunately, tickets will not be sold at the door. In addition to beer and food tastings, the event will feature four former New England Patriots, including three-time Super Bowl champ, offensive lineman Joe Andruzzi (Bill Mathews, Ilia Jarostchuk and Paul Francisco are the others).

3. Boston.com recently looked at median condo sale prices in 12 Boston neighborhoods in 2011. The South End had a median condo sale price of $555,000, up 1 percent from 2010, and a median cost per square foot of $609.08. In 2011, 559 condos sold in the South End, according to Boston.com.
