John Flaherty Joins Hammond Residential South End Office

Chestnut Hill, MA – February 20, 2014 – Dave Stenberg, manager of Hammond Residential Real Estate’s South End office, is pleased to announce that John Flaherty has affiliated with Hammond. In his new role, Flaherty will assist clients from Hammond’s South End office located in the ATELIER 505 building at 505 Tremont Street.

Flaherty was born in Boston and grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and Galway, Ireland. He attended St. Mary College and University College, Galway, where he received degrees in Mathematics and Economics. Community involvement has always been important to John, and in 1997 he was instrumental in placing a commemorative monument to The Great Irish Famine of 1845-1849 on Cambridge Common, which was unveiled by then President of Ireland, Mary Robinson. He is also very active in the parish of Cathedral of Holy Cross in Boston’s South End neighborhood. In his spare time, Flaherty enjoys watching Boston sports teams, travelling, music, art, and spending time with his son.

Prior to his career in real estate, Flaherty owned and managed a number of restaurants in the Boston and Cambridge areas. He also worked as a teacher, and he remains connected to the educational landscape.  As a Hammond agent, Flaherty understands the importance of putting his clients’ interests first and keeping them apprised of trends in the dynamic Greater Boston real estate market. He believes that honesty, integrity, and market knowledge are the keys to success when assisting his clients in achieving their real estate goals.
