Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates Names Specialty Director for OB/GYN

Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates has named Dr. Brian Price Specialty Director for OB/GYN. Harvard Vanguard is a multi-specialty physician practice with offices across eastern Massachusetts and is an affiliate of Atrius Health.

“Since Dr. Price stepped into the position of Interim Specialty Director of OB/GYN in September 2013, he has proven himself to be an effective leader for the practice,” said Harvard Vanguard Interim Chief Medical Officer Dr. Steven Lampert. “He has successfully guided his specialty through a time of transition, quickly gaining the respect of his peers. He will be a great leader for the OB/GYN practice at Harvard Vanguard.”

Dr. Price joined Harvard Vanguard in 1992 and has practiced in the Kenmore, Chelmsford, Watertown and Somerville practices. During his time with Harvard Vanguard, he has held leadership roles as chief of OB/GYN service at Mount Auburn Hospital, associate specialty director of OB/GYN and interim specialty director. 

He received his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine before completing his internship and residency at Brooklyn Hospital. Price is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is currently completing a Master of Business Administration at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

He is a resident of Boston’s South End.
