DORCHESTER, MA, ISSUED DECEMBER 4, 2013…College Hype, a Dorchester-based company which manufactures and provides quality custom apparel and school uniforms for schools, media outlets and corporate organizations, through both screen printing and embroidery processes, today announced the promotion of Joseph Foley of Weymouth to the position of Senior Vice President.

 

In this capacity, he will oversee day-to-day activities at College Hype, and will assist President Jack Doherty with overall strategy for the firm’s continued growth.

 

Foley first joined the company in 2001 as a member of the sales team, and then a Sales Manager.  Prior to joining College Hype, the Stonehill College graduate (Bachelor’s Degree in Economics) was a Sales Manager for a Boston area family business, JNKidds Distribution, which provides high-end gourmet foods to establishments in the Boston area.

 

Foley is currently furthering his education, with the team at College Hype, in seeking to obtain Specialty Certification in the field of advertising.

 

The Quincy, MA native is a member of the L Street Running Club; which is where he first met College Hype President Jack Doherty. The two remain active in the Club today, and are active participants in the Boston running scene. Both volunteer at the Boston Marathon each year. Foley resides in Weymouth with his wife, Laura and eight month old son, Nathan.
