Where to Eat on Thanksgiving in the South End

Here's a short list of places serving Thanksgiving Day specials in the South End where you're sure to get a great meal.

Avila: Just a few blocks from the South End, Avila will be serving its regular dinner menu along with a traditional turkey dinner for $47+ per person. The dinner includes oven roasted Vermont free-range organic turkey, yukon gold mashed potatoes, creamy cipollino onions, fresh peas, roasted butternut squash, and more. Open noon to 8 p.m. (617) 267-4810.

The Beehive: The Tremont Street favorite is serving up equal parts food and music this Thanksgiving with an a la carte menu featuring classics (roast organic turkey, caramelized leek stuffing) and non-traditional dishes (pan-roasted halibut with couscous, grass-fed rack of lamb). Live jazz music will be played all day and evening and there's also a children's menu. Thanksgiving menu offered noon – 10pm, (617) 423-0069.

Petit Robert Bistro: The Columbus Avenue bistro is open on Thanksgiving with fondue and "happy Jacky's Turkey" (named for chef Jacky Robert, we presume). Regular prices, (617) 867-0600.
