Where’s the Best Place to Dine in the South End?

Please vote for your favorite spot by taking our poll and by clicking on the directory link and writing a short, one or two sentence review.

The fifth installment of our Best of Patch Readers’ Choice contest deals with what the South End’s known for – its restaurants.

The question is: Where’s the Best Place to Dine in the South End?

Here are some of our favorite places, but if we’re forgetting yours, please let us know in the comments and we’ll add them to the list.

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday, March 30. Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

franklin cafe serves honest, no-frills american food, reliably. and coppa, my second choice, is more unusual italian fare, with a jamie bissonette twist. excellent.

Columbus Cafe. It's a place where everybody knows your name, and lets you order off-menu, and will occasionally give you free refills at the end of the night, and are always showing classic movies on mute.

Thanks for letting us know and leaving a review here! It's been added to our poll so people can vote for Columbus Cafe, as well.
