South End's Flour Bakery Expands to Back Bay

Joanne Chang, owner of the longtime South End bakery and sandwich shop, has opened another location right near Back Bay Station.

The bread and sandwich staple of the South End, Flour Bakery + Cafe opened another location near Back Bay station last week, and business has been booming. 

"Completely killed on our first full lunch at F4 today. If u came/waited thank u for your patience+hope lunch was great. Tmrw will be better!" owner Joanne Chang tweeted Monday

Chang opened the first Flour location on Washington Street in the South End back in 2000 and expanded to Central Square in Cambridge and Fort Point before opening her fourth location last week at 131 Clarendon St. in the former Hard Rock Cafe.

Chang also owns the modern Asian bistro Myers + Chang on Washington Street. 

The Back Bay spot seats up to 50 people, according to Eater. It will be open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
