Appleton Street's 28 Degrees Has Closed

New American restaurant and bar 28 Degrees has closed for good.

With a note posted on its doors and a message to its Facebook fans, 28 Degrees, an American restaurant bar and lounge on Appleton Street has closed for good. 

The note says: 

"As of September 5th, Twenty-Eight Degrees will be closed. Looking forward to an exciting new space on Appleton Street soon." 

The owners posted an additional though on their Facebook page on September 5th: 

"We thank all our fans for eight wonderful years in Boston's South End; however, all good things must come to an end."

The restaurant featured an upscale contemporary vibe with New American food, late night bar fare, and regular entertainment.
