$150K Bail for South End Little League Coach Arrested on Child Porn Charges

"Graphic and disturbing" images were found in the Union Park home of Andrew McKinnin's Thursday night.

Arrested Thursday night on child pornography distribution charges, 45-year-old Andrew McKinnon's bail was at $150,000 Friday by Boston Municipal Court.

A former Little League coach, McKinnon was identified by state police from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force as a user of a peer-to-peer file-sharing program distributing child pornography. A search of McKinnon's Union Park apartment by Boston police and federal officials found additional child pornography files on his computer only two days old.

“The images discovered by investigators are graphic and disturbing,”  Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley said in a press release. “They document rape and abuse of innocent children. And in the digital age, images like these can never truly be confiscated and destroyed.”

Along with the set bail, McKinnon has been ordered to wear a GPS monitor, have no contact with children under 16 and stay away from schools.
