Movie Star Julia Stiles Spotted in South End on Monday

The "10 Things I Hate About You" and "Save the Last Dance" star is filming a new movie, "The Makeover," in Boston starting this week.

As you make your way around the South End—and Boston—this week, keep your eyes peeled for some famous faces. 

Julia Stiles, star of "10 Things I Hate About You," supporting actress in the "Bourne" series, and more recently, "Dexter," was in the South End on Monday to start work on her new project, "The Makeover."

Stiles filmed scenes in the lobby of 500 Harrison Avenue, and in an outside courtyard, according to the Boston Herald

"But filming was constantly interrupted during the bustling Monday lunch hour when workers in the office building kept exiting the elevator in the lobby for their lunch break," the article states. "Clad in a black-and-tan jacket over a modest black dress, Julia was overheard saying, 'Mama just needs one more take.'”

If you missed her in the South End, you're out of luck for a few weeks. The movie crew heads to Charlestown later in the week to film at Salon Forty-Four and the Charlestown Commerce Center, but reportedly without Stiles, . But the crew will return to Charlestown on Sep. 24-26 to film on Belmont Street and Union Street.
