Wednesday, July 17

Pine Street Inn - Raise money for the South End's Pine Street Inn by joining the Innbassadors for Pine Street Inn on Wednesday night at the Harpoon Brewery (306 Northern Ave.) The group is dedicated to helping Pine Streets Inn mission to end homelessness. Tickets are $50 and include food, beer and prizes. See here for more information

Live Music - BNAN's Sounds of the Garden Wednesday evening concert series will begin in the South End with a festive night of local musicians at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17 at 89 Northampton St. Come out to enjoy Brazilian-inspired originals, including samba and bossa nova standards, performed by local musicians Deborah and Giovani Rocha. See here for more information

L'ecole Nuit - Join the South End's newest business for an exclusive evening of champagne and laughs to celebrate the summer with the latest trends in lingerie, makeup and boudoir. There will be a tutorial on achieving a simple summer glow with easy makeup application tricks from expert stylist Jannicke Welde.

Third Thursdays - A group of young neighborhood entrepreneurs are coming together to celebrate their blossoming businesses and what has become a unique shopping district west of Dartmouth Street. Join in every Third Thursday of the month for a taste of what we have to offer! This month will feature artwork by Gold Gallery, wines by Urban Grape South End, Small Batch Artisan treats from Olives & Grace and Tea Refreshments by David's Tea. Live Music - The Worcester Square Area Neighborhood Association continues its "Music on the Square" series on Thursday July 18th as Boston Opera on Tap join in to perform some old opera favorites, musical theatre and great jazz. Bring a picnic and enjoy an evening of great music! It's happening in Worcester Square at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 18. See here for more information

Live Latin Music - 
A native of Colombia, vocalist María Mulata blends the rich cultural influences of great cantaoras (flamenco singers) like Toto la Momposina, Etelvina Maldonado, and Petrona Martínez, among others. Known for her memorable, high-energy performances, Mulata incorporates new sounds into her folkloric repertoire. Mulata will perform in O'Day Park (85 West Newton St.) in the South End at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 18. See here for more information
