Light snow will bring 1 to 2 inches of snow, but ocean effect snow showers could bring more to the coast.

Forecasters are predicting light snow on Sunday night and early Monday morning that could bring 1 to 2 inches of snow to the Greater Boston area, including the Cape and islands.

Snow ocean effect snow could bring as much as 4 inches for some areas along the coast, according to the National Weather Service.

Though not a big storm, the timing overnight could mean a slippery Monday morning commute.
