PHOTOS: Fairy DogParent's Fundraiser at Ilex
Last Wednesday's Fairy DogParents fundraiser brought local celebrities to the South End's Ilex Designs floral shop.
Fairy DogParents, whose mission is to help keep dogs with their owners when owners face tough financial straits, rallied its supporters at a fundraiser last Wednesday at Ilex Designs on Berkeley Street.
Fairy DogParents would like to thank: host Andrew Anderson of Ilex, Jim Little of Choice Catering (who donated all wine and hor d'oeuvres), Polka Dog Bakery for their great generosity, Kickass Cupcakes and Skoah and entertainment hosts and Ramiro, DJ Pup Dawg and Vince from JAM'N 94.5.
According to an article in the Boston Herald, the charity has helped 246 dogs (and their owners) over three years.
