Farewell from Your South End Editor

Editor Sara Jacobi will be stepping down on Oct. 15th.

Dear readers,

In case you're not aware, today is my last day at Patch. I was part of a layoff restructuring, and I am not sure who will be replacing me here in the South End and when. But I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for making my 3+ years here really fun and special, whether I worked with you in Wakefield, the South End, Fenway-Kenmore, or in Boston in general.  I'm sad to be leaving you all, but excited for my next opportunity and hope you'll all stay in touch.

As far as my future plans, I've accepted a new job at Northeastern University, at the College of Professional Studies, so I won't be going very far.

You can reach me going forward at www.linkedin.com/in/jacobisara, on Twitter @sarajacobi.

In the meantime on South End Patch, you can still post your news and information directly to the site at southend.patch.com/boards, and whoever takes over will be sure to display it on the homepage and in the daily newsletter. And you can email southend@patch.com with any questions.

Thanks again and I wish you all the best! I absolutely love the South End and feel blessed to have met so many great individuals, groups and business owners during my time here as editor. I couldn't have asked for a better, more engaged and wonderful community to cover in Boston. Hope to see you around - if you see me out and about, please feel free to come say hello.

Thanks,
Sara
