WWII Foundation Presents Band of Brothers: A panel discussion with WWII Veterans and Actors from the HBO series

WHEN:     Thursday, April 12, 2012 
WHERE: Seaport World Trade Center Amphitheater

(BOSTON) On Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 7:30PM the Seaport World Trade Center Amphitheater in Boston, MA will be the venue for a once in a lifetime opportunity to hear from three of World War II’s original Band of Brothers veterans (Babe Heffron, Ed Tipper and medic Al Mampre) and two of the actors (Ross McCall and James Madio) who played the men in the HBO television series. Also joining this tremendous panel discussion will be Israel Arbeiter, a survivor of WWII’s infamous concentration camp at Auschwitz.

The theme of the evening will be: Band of Brothers: From Normandy to the Holocaust.

All proceeds from the event benefit the 501 c3 World War II Foundation and its mission.

Opening remarks of this special evening will be delivered by United States Senator Scott Brown of Massachusetts. Other special guests will also be on hand to welcome the veterans and actors to Boston.

We hope you will join us for a great interactive event with the veterans of World War II’s Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division and the actors who played them in the TV series. Guests will also have the opportunity to hear about life in Auschwitz and the razor-fine line between those who survived and those who perished at the hands of the Nazi’s.

Tickets are priced at $45 each with a special pre-event VIP reception package at $500 (includes two tickets, preferred seating, meet and greet with the veterans, actors, Auschwitz survivor and other invited guests (food and cash bar). VIP reception begins at 6:00PM.
